I stumbled upon this today, on the great world wide interwebs thingy, and immediately thought it to be a fantastic and simple idea. Oh, and there’s a great video about it featuring Bill Nighy, which has also been directed by Richard Curtis

On waking up this morning, I found the world around me covered in snow! A welcoming winter scene on my doorstep just a week before Christmas.
As the snow stopped falling, I got wrapped up and ventured out early with my camera to take some photos. I was only out for an hour or so, but was blessed with some gorgeous winter sunshine. Here’s a sample image from my mornings work. It was taken just on the edge of the village looking across the paddock towards the rising sun in the east.

As another working week comes to an end, yet again it’s been a pretty busy one.
On top of the regular print design and website design I’ve been working on for a couple of regular clients, I’ve also written quite a few quotes for new jobs over the last couple of days – could this be a sign of the UK economy starting to pick up? Not sure, but at least it’s a step in the right direction.
So, hot on the heels of a new site redesign – version 4.0, if my memory serves me correctly – I thought it was about time I integrated a more permanent blog with the rest of the pages on my site. I’ve actually dabbled before with writing a blog on my site a couple of years ago, but nothing as fixed as this – I hope it’ll grow to be a big feature of the site given time.
Over the coming months I’ll be writing all about creative stuff I’m up to, as well as perhaps throwing in some more general items too. Feel free to subscribe to my feed, or leave me a comment. Enjoy!
